Review: Fantastic Four #577
It has been awhile since I picked up an issue of Fantastic Four, and I have to admit this issue seems like the perfect time to have done so. In this issue, the Fantastic Four stumble upon happenings on the moon that quite possibly could have major repercussions for everyone on Earth. Of course being on the moon, you know it’s gotta involve the Inhumans. Writer Jonathan Hickman seems to be taking an approach with the FF that harkens back to basics with a team who are as much explorers as they are superheroes, and I find this refreshing. On top of that, artist Dale Eaglesham does a great job really capturing the elements and feel one might have exploring a new environment. If you are like me and haven’t read an issue of Fantastic Four in a while, then I think this issue will make a great jumping on point for you to check out. Just checking out the preview for the next issue at the end of this one tells me the action is about to kick into overdrive.
